Strategic plan

AIM came into being in 1961 to assist in the founding of monasteries and apostolic congregations of the Benedictine tradition in Africa, Asia, Latin America and, more recently, Eastern Europe together with their development as a contribution to the life of the local population. It has evolved into an international alliance of monasteries throughout the world.
