STIC Sessions

The monastery of Mvanda organises the STIC for members of the Cistercian and Benedictine communities of the DRC who have completed their novitiate. The studium is also open to other consecrated persons and committed lay people wishing to deepen their faith and knowledge. The formation programme is spread over three years and is divided into ten-day sessions, three per year. It culminates in an examination session for regular students. Course content: anthropology, fundamental theology, fundamental moral theology, canon law, patrology, Christian revelation and African traditions.

Project

In October 2024, sessions were held on philosophy, logic and the Bible (reading and interpretation). Financial assistance would be needed to cover the costs involved.
