We find ourselves in Nigeria in a state of serious uncertainties and the only form of hope that is available is for us Christian, the window of hope we have in our trust in Christ.

Often we pray for a better future, but we don't seem to get it and we are left with the simple two possibility- either our prayers are not being answered or this is how God wants us to be! Especially, as we are aware that the way of the Cross is also a Christian path. Today, the news we received is that of the three young candidates kidnapped at the Eruku community one was killed and two released. It is a very sad news. Now we have experienced killing in our monastery for the firt time. May God help us.

Thank you for the concern, and kep praying for us and our country. Our government is the one that created the environment which make these things possible because they make gains from it, at the expense of human lives. In today's Nigeria, no one is safe anywhere but this is more true for the ordinary people. We live in the heart of uncertainties. May God help us.
